HR Supervisor

WHO ARE WE?

15ten15 are currently recruiting for a HR Supervisor on behalf of leading provider of specialist equipment to growing infrastructure and associated end markets.

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

Responsible for the effective operation of the HR function, the HR supervisor will play a crucial role in developing people culture and helping the business to grow and nurture a team capable of delivering its growth ambitions.

Duties include:

  • First & second line support for all employee HR related matters
  • Establish a centralised framework, processes and controls for recruitment activity and to manage it accordingly
  • Creation and maintenance of HR-related company policies and tool kits
  • Support managers with staff issues and coordinate actions with HR consultants
  • Compile and update employee records
  • Create and distribute HR documentation throughout the employee life cycle, including: job offers, employment contracts, new joiner documents, ad hoc letters, leavers forms etc
  • Support in the delivery and coordination of talen acquisition events and initiatives e.g. graduate milkrounds, interns, apprenticeships and work placements
  • Providing support on training and learning and development initiatives
  • Attend HR meetings and document discussions
  • Carry out new employee company inductions
  • Responsible for HR aspects of GDPR documentation, data retention and compliance
  • Involvement in the development and implementation of new employee benefits
  • Prepare monthly/ad-hoc reports for management review
  • Recruitment, coaching and development of more junior members of the HR team
  • Ensure that the company's health and safety policy and procedures are adhered to
  • Promote equality and diversity in line with cultural objectives of the business
  • Other ad-hoc duties commensurate with the role

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE

  • Proven experience in a similar role - 3 to 4 years would be ideal
  • A minimum of Level 3 CIPD qualification, with ambitions to progress further
  • Knowledge of HR best practice and employment law
  • Excellent organisational skills
  • Confident personality with strong communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Work autonomously and remain calm under pressure
