15ten15 are currently recruiting for a Project Management Office Lead / Project Controller on behalf of a Management and Training consultancy business for multiple roles across the region.

National travel will be required to different Clients, therefore a full UK driving license is required.

Reporting to the Managing Director the Project Management Office Lead will be working within a successful Change Management consultancy team that delivers informational change across complex organisations in various sectors. 

You will be providing programme level support in the areas of planning, risk, benefits tracking, budget reporting, etc. 

Role and Responsibilities: 

Support the project teams by providing appropriate management controls for the overall Clients portfolio, including:

  • Milestone delivery and timescales
  • Quality controls
  • Costs (budgets, administration and tracking for both capex & opex)
  • Resources (people)
  • Benefits (tracking, both hard and soft)
  • Risks & Issues Management (tracking and escalations)
  • Interdependency management
  • Change control
  • Stakeholder mapping
  • Developing best practice and agreed standardised processes, tools, templates and ways of working.
  • Implementing risk management standards and processes.
  • Support with the administration of portfolio office budgets including submission of invoices and supporting financial reconciliation activity
  • Supporting project design to convert defined business issues into realistic and deliverable plans

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE

A Full UK Driving license is required for this role!

Essential Skills Required:

  • IT Project delivery experience, ideally ERP implementation. 
  • Experience of overseeing multiple projects at the same time
  • Experience of managing, raising, escalating risks and issues
  • Budget and benefit tracking is advantageous.

Skills Required: 

  • Extensive experience setting up PMOs and working within Business/IT/Finance/Change programmes
  • Experience working in a PMO, central planning or governance function, including relevant qualifications (i.e. APMP)
  • Experience of reporting key information such as budget and benefits tracking to senior stakeholders
  • Demonstrable professional project & programme risk management experience
  • Excellent capabilities in data gathering, collation, analysis and reporting in a change delivery environment
  • Strong understanding of governance and management at portfolio, programme and project level
  • Good knowledge of business software (e.g. ERP, CRM)
  • Confidence to challenge ways of working
  • A demonstrable record of delivery either as a lead or member of teams
  • An applied understanding of project management tools and methodologies
  • Experience of managing mixed stakeholder groups, including exposure to board level
  • Excellent data preparation, technical analysis, and reporting skills
  • Excellent written communication: training materials, presentations, client reports
